Monster Energy is one of most popular sponsors in NASCAR. Over the past couple of years, the energy drink has primarily sponsored cars and trucks in the NASCAR XFINITY Series and the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. For 2016, Monster Energy is moving up and will co-sponsor Kurt Busch's No. 41 Chevrolet SS for a majority of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races. However, for the May Talladega race, Monster Energy will serve as the sole primary sponsor on Busch's car. The 2003 series champion has six top-five and 15 top-10 finishes at the longest track on the circuit.
